MOTD/OOTD | Indian Party

Hello everyone! I’m super excited to share with you all my makeup as well as my beautiful Indian suit I was fortunate enough to wear this past weekend. My best friend is Indian so I had the opportunity to attend an Indian party for her family’s Banquet Hall Grand Opening celebration. Oh my goodness, it was so much fun and the culture is just amazing! Not to mention, I was finally able to fulfill my Indian food craving!

Anyway, as I had just mentioned, I’m so eager to show you guys my makeup, as well as my gorgeous Indian suit so let’s get started!

Products I used for this look:

  • BH Cosmetics: Dark Rose Palette
  • Urban Decay: Naked 2 Basics
  • CoverGirl: Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation in “Golden Tan”
  • Jordana: Forever Flawless Pressed Powder in “Light Honey”
  • NYC: Sunny Bronzer
  • Benefit: Watts Up! Highlighter
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills: Dipbrow Pomade in “Medium Brown”
  • Mally Beauty: Extra Lift Brow Gel
  • Jordana: Easy Lip Liner in “Cabarnet”
  • Kiko Milano: Luscious Cream Lipstick in “Black Cherry”

For most of the eye look, I used BH Cosmetics Dark Rose Palette. This palette comes with 12 gorgeous metallic shades, 3 blush colors, and a BH Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner.

As an all-over lid colour, I applied a golden yellow-orange and darkened up the look by applying a dark brownish violet-plum on the outer corner of my eyes.

I used Naked 2 Basics in “Frisk” (light, matte dusty brown-taupe) as a transition color between my crease and brow bone in order to get rid of any harsh lines and then used ELF’s Flawless Contour Brush with no product to blend, blend, and blend again. After, I blended my life away, I went back to the brownish violet-plum colour in the Dark Rose Palette to add more purple that was faded from the blending.

I then used Revlon’s PhotoReady Kajal Eye Pencil in “Matte Coal” on both my waterline and lash line as a base and right on top applied a metallic dark violet from the Dark Rose Palette for an extra pop of purple. For my inner corner, I used a metallic medium purple to brighten up the eyes. From there I created a winged liner, applied mascara, & followed up with falsies. For this look, I used Ardell’s Twin Pack in “105”.

For lips, I used Jordana’s Easy Lip Liner in “Cabarnet” as a base along with Kiko Milano’s Luscious Cream Lipstick in “Black Cherry” to create a beautiful dark plum lip. *Note: Keep an eye out for a Jordana Haul / First Impression post coming soon!

Now on to the outfit — this beautiful purple Indian suit with gold and silver embellishments I wore that evening:
